Excellent customer service, and food service from Chef Yashir Rujub, who has recently joined the restaurant as the new Head Chef and has redefined the menu. He has gone beyond and above in advising us on the right amount of food for a family celebration. In terms of the food itself, I can only comment on what we have tried so far: one of the best beef Briani, fried rice & fried noodles, crab soup, boulettes, and dalpuri, we’ve had IN A VERY LONG TIME IN THE UK! That chilli paste is out of this world! Very generous portion as take away. We are so glad and blessed that the restaurant is only less than half an hour away from our house, Chef Yashir is a world class chef! Absolutely grateful to have him in our local area. Thank you Mauritian Delights for bringing Mauritius closer to us in East London.

Treated mum and aunty to Dholl puri & Min-frir! The Dholl puri was just like in MRU - fresh and yummy. The mine frir, freshly made and equally tasty. Mum rarely eats a plate full but she finished her plate this time. Even got some dholl puri to take home. Authentic and tasty - thank you. It was cold in the restaurant to eat in though we're sure it's better in other seasons... Thank you for the superb tasty food!

Made a very large order of chicken biryani for 150 people. Each box of biryani was accompanied with a box of salad, a small tub of chilli sauce and a small bottle of alooda. These are all packaged very well and secure, which is helpful considering the large order. The collection of the items were smooth and staff were helpful when putting them all in the vehicle. The biryani was really tasty and flavoursome. This is also backed up by the all the people who had this too and really enjoyed the meal. The portion of the biryani is a very good amount and filling. The salad box is also generous, which was prepared fresh. The chilli sauce is definitely hot and the small amount is appropriate. The alooda tasted lovely, which had the right blend of ingredients used - good taste and not too sweet. Would highly recommend for some good food and service
